Creighton Volleyball
Four years seems relatively short when compared to the grand scheme of things but the four years I spent with Creighton Volleyball feels more like a lifetime. In 2015 I came in as a bright-eyed freshman feeling like I just won the lottery because I got to play for the team I’d been watching since I was six years old. However, D1 college volleyball is much different than that of high school and club and I hit that learning curve hard. I worked myself ragged nearly every day, experienced some amazing highs, and some very real lows. But even with all of the tireless days and nights to turn this group of girls into one of the best teams in the country, I continuously found new reasons to appreciate the name on my jersey and a team that became more like a family.
It is because of Creighton Volleyball that I began to seriously consider becoming a filmmaker and creator. Their story sparked something inside me and drove me to produce one of my first ‘legit’ films; needless to say I was immediately in love. Creighton Volleyball provided me a medium to develop my craft and the support to grow as a creator. In my time there, I created dozens of videos, hundreds of photos, books, blogs, and so much more – everything to better tell the story of the girls around me. So thank you Creighton Volleyball, you have meant everything to me and you will always hold a special place in my heart.
With Love,
